BEACON FALLS — Cub Scout Pack 2010’s annual food drive has started.

Empty bags were placed on doorsteps Nov. 1. Residents are asked to put donations of non-perishable food items in the bags and place them on their front doorstep by 9 a.m. Saturday to be picked. The scouts will be picking up the bags from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Pack didn’t have enough bags to provide each house with one, but residents can still donate by filling their own bags. The food collected will be donated to the Naugatuck Ecumenical Food Bank, which also serves Beacon Falls.
