Schools participating in summer food program

NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck Public Schools announced its participation in the federally-funded Seamless Summer Food Program.

The program provides free meals to all children 18 years old and under. The program runs on weekdays from June 27 to Aug. 19, with the exception of July 4.

Meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Naugatuck High School, 543 Rubber Ave., and Central Avenue School, 28 Central Ave.

Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the following locations: Baummers Pond Park, 95 Mill St.; Legion Field, 2 Conrad St.; Andrew Avenue School, 140 Andrew Ave.; Salem School, 124 Meadow St.; Linden Park, 1 Curtiss St.; YMCA, 284 Church St.; Hop Brook School, 75 Crown St.
