WATERBURY – The Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation is offering scholarships to students who are pursuing associate or bachelor’s degrees in nursing.
The scholarships will be awarded this spring.
Each year, the foundation awards scholarships to residents of the greater Waterbury area who have been accepted or are already enrolled in a two-year or four-year nursing program. Qualifying applicants must maintain at least a B average in high school and are required to submit an essay as to why they have chosen nursing as a career. Semi-finalists will be interviewed by a committee from Saint Mary’s Hospital.
Applications are available online at www.stmh.org. Click on “Career Portal,” and select “About Our Opportunities” and go to the “Student Nurse” section. Applications must be received by Friday, March 25.
