NAUGATUCK — The 3rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K Running Race & Fun Walk will be held March 9.

The race will benefit the Naugatuck Education Foundation, which provides grants for public school teachers in Naugatuck. The event features a 5K, fun walk, and Kid’s Fun Run for children 12 years old and younger. The race begins and ends at the Old Corner Café, 178 North Main St. Due to safety reasons, strollers and baby joggers will not be permitted on the course.

Entry fees are $25 until March 8, $30 on race day, $10 for Naugatuck students and walkers and $5 for the Kid’s Fun Run. Registration and race packet will be held from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. The 5K and fun walk begin at 9 a.m. while the Kid’s Fun Run starts at 10 a.m.
