REGION 16 — Region 16 is accepting nominations for the 2016 Teacher of the Year.
Parents, students, staff and community members in the region, which oversees schools in Beacon Falls and Prospect, are encouraged to nominate teachers.
The nominee must be a tenured teacher who has worked for at least three years in Region 16 and has not received the award in the past five years. Nomination forms are available online at www.region16ct.org. The deadline to nominate a teacher is 3 p.m. on June 5.
