REGION 16 — Region 16 is offering a host of adult education courses beginning in September.
The classes are open to anyone 16 years old or older, who live in Beacon Falls and Prospect or any surrounding community, and isn’t currently enrolled in a high school program.
The 10 classes offered include courses in conversational Spanish, novel and short story writing, introduction to acting, and basic hatha yoga. Courses are $50 and most consist of 10 classes. Courses for senior citizens, age 55 and older, are $30. Courses begin the week of Sept. 11.
The deadline to register for a course is Sept. 1. Courses must be paid for in full prior to the start of the class. For more information, call Prospect Elementary School Principal Rima McGeehan at 203-578-3300.
