Rebimbas and Labriola to ring bells for Salvation Army

HARTFORD — State representatives Rosa Rebimbas (R-70) and David Labriola (R-131) will be raising money for the community this holiday season.

The representatives will be ringing bells and collecting donations in the red Salvation Army kettle outside of the Naugatuck Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on Dec. 14 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Last year, during a similar hour of bell-ringing, Rebimbas and Labriola collected $121.63, which Walmart matched with a dollar-for-dollar contribution to The Salvation Army that brought the total for the hour to $243.26.

The public is welcomed to stop by, say hello, and make a donation to make this year’s collection even more of a success.
