PROSPECT — Prospect Town Hall will be closed Friday and Monday after officials learned an employee had been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
Mayor Robert Chatfield said the decision to close the building was made “out of an abundance of caution” and in collaboration with officials from Chesprocott Health District. He said the employee is not showing COVID-19 symptoms and will get tested for the coronavirus Thursday.
Town buildings have been closed to the public since March.
