PROSPECT — The town is scheduled to street sweeping in April.
Mayor Robert Chatfield said three town crews will be sweeping streets starting on April 2. The crews will be out from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The entire process is expected to take seven business days, Chatfield said.
The crews will be taking care of town roads, town building parking lots, and parking lots for town parks and fields, Chatfield said.
Chatfield said if a car is parked on the street in front of a house, the crews will try to alert the resident and have the car moved. If it is not moved, the crew will sweep around the car, he said.
“We don’t go back. We rent the street sweepers and we only have them for a limited time before they go off to another town,” Chatfield said.
