PROSPECT — Police are investigating two separate late March thefts of truck batteries.
According to police, the theft of a three batteries from a parked dump truck at Bodhichitta Farms was reported March 28. Bodhichitta Farms, a Community Supported Agriculture, is located at 176 Straitsville Road.
Two days later, police received a report that three batteries were stolen from three separate tractor trailers at Century Air Management, 103 Union City Road. According to the police report, the batteries are valued at $135 each. The police report stated the terminal cables in the truck were also cut and destroyed.
The thefts remain under investigation.
