PROSPECT — Judy Perillo, widow of the late Danny Perillo and daughter of Louise and Anthony Santoli, passed away on Friday, Aug. 2, 2024, at Saint Mary’s Hospital.
Judy lived with her daughter Dana, and son-in-law Michael Stango. She graduated from Wilby High School and worked for the Bristol Co.
An avid duck pin bowler, Judy ran the largest senior citizen league in the world, oversaw many young people’s leagues and was a member of the Connecticut Duck Pin Bowlers Hall of Fame.
Judy was a Girl Scout leader for two years at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and was a volunteer for eight years as a P.E. teacher at St. Lucy’s Grammar School.
In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, she leaves a sister, Joanne Howard of Middlebury; her nieces and nephews, Donna Fontano, Frankie Santoli, Suzanne Gravel, Michele Roncaioli; and many great-nieces and -nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Domenic, who passed away from kidney disease when he was 15. She also leaves many outdoor animals and birds that she enjoyed feeding daily.
A Mass of Christian Burial was to be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect, CT 06712. Those wishing to attend the Mass for Judy were asked to meet directly at the church. Burial was to follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. There were no calling hours.
Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, has been entrusted with her arrangements.
