PROSPECT — The Prospect Library will feature the photography of Allen Thibodeau and Debbie Levesque during March.

Thibodeau, a Prospect resident, took an interest in photography while serving in the U.S. Air Force, according to a press release issued by the library. Upon completion of four years in the Air Force, Thibodeau returned to his hometown of Waterbury, where he continued his photography career. He retired after 20 years in his studio.

Last summer, Thibodeau took a trip across the country, visiting several of the national parks in the west, the release stated. While there, he photographed some of the scenery, sunrises and sunsets.

A photo exhibition open house is March 5 at the library, 17 Center St., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A collection of photographs by Levesque, a Naugatuck resident, will be displayed in the main part of the library.

Levesque’s photographs are inspired by nature, a release stated, and included in the collection are a few pictures taken of butterflies in the Prospect Library perennial garden last summer.
