PROSPECT — The Prospect Land Trust is holding its 25th annual Fall Hike on Sunday.

The hike steps off at 2 p.m. from the trail head on Boardman Drive, a cud-de-sac off of Route 68.

This year’s hike will cover two different properties. The first section of the hike will go through the Kathan Woods trail system with a focus on its blue blazed trail. The second stretch of the hike will lead into the neighboring RWA property, which isn’t open to the public right now but the hope is it will become a future extension of the Quinnipiac Blue Trail.

This hike is a moderate hike with a steep incline section on the RWA property, a press release stated. No dogs are allowed. The hike will be canceled if there is heavy rain. In the event of inclement weather, a cancellation notice will be posted online the day of the hike at prospectlandtrust.blogspot.com.
