
PROSPECT — Minds in Motion is returning to Prospect.
Minds in Motion, which is jointly hosted by the Connecticut Association for the Gifted, parents and educators from the Region 16 School District and the Long River Middle School PTO, offers three hours of enrichment classes for children in kindergarten through eighth grade from Region 16 and the surrounding area.
Presenters will include Imagine Nation Museum, Science Snoopers, the Institute of American Indian Studies, Hubbard Hall, as well as local artists, educators and fitness instructors. While students are in classes, parents and teachers are also able to attend a free keynote address and workshops.
Minds in Motion will take place March 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Long River Middle School, 38 Columbia Ave. Registration ends March 1, and classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
