Police-badgeNAUGATUCK — Police are seeking information from patrons of a storage facility at New Haven and Clark roads, near the Bethany line.

One or more people broke in Sunday between 2 and 3 p.m. and cut the locks to about 30 units in the building, said Naugatuck police spokesman Lt. Bryan Cammarata.

Anyone who uses the facility should call Det. Jack DeOliveira at (203) 720-2588. If police determine the caller’s unit was one of those broken into, they will need an itemized list of everything in storage there, Cammarata said.

Through conversations with some of the renters, police have determined that many hand and power tools were stolen, Cammarata said.

No video surveillance footage was obtained, but witnesses told police the suspected burglars drove a smaller black GMC or Chevrolet pickup truck with the newer-style orange New York license plate.
