The suspects are described as a white woman with a thin build and longer brown or dirty blond hair, and a slightly stocky white man with dark, receding hair, cut short and possibly parted on the left side. The woman was wearing a white tank top and fatigue-style long pants at the time of the incident, while the man was wearing a gray t-shirt and dark pants, police said.

The two suspects, which have been liked to similar thefts in the area, were driving a white, Honda Accord, between a 1986 and 1989 model. The vehicle has a sunroof and aftermarket rims, police said.

Police reminded everyone to keep their purse safe and out of site and not to leave it unattended in their vehicle or shopping cart.

Anyone with information on these suspects is asked to call Det. Ronald Pugliese at (203) 729-7106.
