NAUGATUCK — Police are seeking the public’s help to locate a man who was last seen Oct. 3.
Ryan Havican, 40, has a history of substance abuse, family members told police, but normally contacts them every day. Police said Havican texted a family member Oct. 4 and the text indicated he was going to see a friend in West Haven and that he planned to return to Waterbury. Family members told police that calls to Havican’s cell phone just go to a full voice mail.
Havican is white with blue eyes and a shaved head. He is about 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds.
