NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck police have located a 16-year-old girl who has a history of running away from home.
Police reported they’ve located Brittani Davis Tuesday afternoon. No further details were released as of this post.
On Feb. 7 Davis’ father dropped her off on Rubber Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. Police said her father reported Davis told him she was meeting a friend but did not return home.
Davis had been in contact with her family periodically since Feb. 7, Naugatuck police spokesman Lt. Bryan Cammarata said. However, the family did not hear from her since Saturday, he said, when they spoke with her on the phone. She would not indicate her whereabouts at the time, Cammarata said.
Davis has a history of running away, Cammarata said. On Tuesday morning police issued a public call for help in locating Davis.
