PROSPECT — Police are searching for two men who broke into a smoke shop on Sunday.
Police said the two men, who were wearing masks and gloves, used a crowbar to break into Prospect Smoke Shop, 50 Waterbury Road, at about 2:30 a.m. Police said the men took cartons of Marlboro and Newport cigarettes as well as kratom powder, an herbal supplement.
Police said one man was wearing dark jeans, a V-neck jacket, and a white and black baseball hat with the Ford symbol on it. The other man was wearing dark sweatpants, a red T-shirt, a dark-colored jacket, a dark-colored knit winter hat and glasses, according to police.
The men left the scene in a smaller, dark-colored SUV, police said.
