Police find missing Naugatuck girl


NAUGATUCK — Police said they have located a 14-year-old local girl who was reported missing over the weekend.

Lisa Martins went missing Friday at about 2 p.m. from the Big Y on Bridge Street, according to police. She was reported missing the following day and was quickly located. Police announced at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday the teen had been found and was in good health.

Martins was described as “endangered,” and officials said she is a habitual runaway.

Police did not say where the girl was found, or give details about her whereabouts.
