NAUGATUCK — More than a month has passed since a 16-year-old foster child was reported missing.
Police said Christine Carrero was last seen on Feb. 4. She was reported missing the following day, but police have yet to locate her. Police are looking to talk with anyone who may have had contact with Carrero since Feb. 4.
Carrero has run away previously and tends to return after a few days, police said. At first, police believed she may be in Waterbury in the Elliott Avenue area. However, police said, she may also be out of the state.
Carrero is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.
