NAUGATUCK — A 24-year-old Bristol woman with a history of prostitution was charged Thursday after police say she performed oral sex on a 15-year-old boy.

Sarah Ciccio, of 19 Earl St., Bristol, had sexual contact with the boy while he was staying overnight at a friend’s house, according to a news release from Naugatuck Police Department. The encounter occurred on Jan. 24 and was reported after the victim told his parents about it four days later, police said.

Ciccio was charged with second-degree sexual assault, illegal sexual contact with a victim under the age of 16, risk of injury to a child and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Police said no money was exchanged between Ciccio and the victim. Ciccio didn’t use any force during the incident, police said, but was charged with sexual assault because of the victim’s age.

Ciccio was held on a $500,000 bond and was arraigned Friday in Waterbury Superior Court.

In 2012, Waterbury police nabbed Ciccio in a prostitution sting. At the time, police said she agreed to have sex with an undercover officer who was posing as a John in the city’s Hillside neighborhood.

Ciccio was found guilty of prostitution, possession of a controlled substance and violation of probation in January 2013. She was sentenced to a six-month prison term, according to records.

Her most recent arrest was on Dec. 23 in Naugatuck when police charged her with interfering with an officer. She was convicted on Jan. 8 and sentenced to a one-year suspended sentence and one year of probation.

Ciccio was also convicted in 2012 of sixth-degree larceny and failure to appear in New Haven.
