NAUGATUCK — Police caught up with a third suspect in June wanted in connection with the theft of more than $56,000 from a victim’s business bank account.

The Milford Police Department took Stephanie Amber Metevier, 24, of Milford, into custody June 19 on an arrest warrant out of Naugatuck, police said. The warrant stemmed from a burglary last fall in which police say Metevier and two accomplices, who were arrested earlier this year, gained access to the victim’s financial information. Police say they then used the information to steal the money from a business account between September and December.

Police charged Metevier with second-degree failure to appear, first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, first-degree identify theft, conspiracy to commit first-degree identity theft, third-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit third-degree forgery, third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Tuesday.
