Police: Beacon Falls man charged after firing shots off porch

BEACON FALLS — A local man has been arrested after state police said he fired off two shots from his porch on Skokorat Road.
There were no reported injuries, state police said in the release.

Marc Pantalone, 33, of 653 Skokorat Road, was charged April 13 with unlawful discharge of firearms, carrying a firearm while under the influence of liquor and or drugs, breach of peace, criminal possession of firearm or electronic defense weapon, first-degree reckless endangerment and two counts of risk of injury or impairing the morals of a child. Pantalone was arraigned Thursday at Derby Superior Court. His next court date wasn’t available.

According to the release, at 8:32 p.m., a trooper from Troop I in Bethany responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 653 Skokorat Road. Witness accounts stated that two shots were fired off the front porch of 653 Skokorat Road, the release stated. State police did not release any further details.
