NAUGATUCK — Unaffiliated burgess candidate Emidio Cerasale withdrew from the race this week.
Cerasale, 70, submitted his withdrawal form to the Town Clerk’s office on Tuesday morning. Cerasale, who petitioned his way on to the ballot, cited medical reasons for dropping out of the race.
With Ceasale out of the race that leaves 12 candidates — six Democrats and six Republicans — vying for the nine burgesses seats on the Board of Mayor and Burgesses.
