Forms and instructions for taxable property owned as of Oct. 1, 2013 have been mailed out by the office to owners of personal property. Failure to submit declarations will result in a 25-percent penalty. Anyone who hasn’t received the forms yet should contact the Assessor’s Office in order to avoid a penalty charge. Forms are located on the assessor’s website.
