Partnership for Children holding class for parents

NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Partnership for Children is hosting a Parents Supporting Educational Excellence course.

The class is a 12-week leadership course for parents designed to provide knowledge in education policy development and governance, and facilitate partnerships between school staff and parents in developing policies and programs to improve student learning.

Classes begin on Feb. 15 and will be held Wednesdays from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at City Hill Middle School, 441 City Hill St. The course is free. Childcare is available.
