NAUGATUCK — Naugatuck High School will play host to traditions from all over the world March 15.

The second International Cultural Heritage night will showcase Naugatuck’s diverse cultural landscape with displays of art and other cultural items in the cafeteria. The culinary department and local restaurants will provide appetizers from various ethnic traditions. The evening will culminate with artistic and musical performances by high school students and community members.

Organizers are looking for participants to bring tabletop displays and perform in an international talent show. A sign-up form is available on Mayor Robert Mezzo’s blog, www.bobmezzo.com. Anyone interested is asked to sign up by March 1.

Restaurants with applicable permits are also being sought to provide ethnic foods samples. Interested restaurants should contact Mary Johnson at johnsonm@naugy.net for more information.

For more information, e-mail NHS Event Chair Anne Marie Chuckrey at chuckrea@naugy.net, or call the mayor’s office at (203) 720-7009.

Any local business interested in sponsorship opportunities which will defray the costs of hosting the free event should contact Chuckrey.
