PROSPECT — Registration is open for summer programs run by Prospect Parks and Recreation.
The programs include an array of activities including fencing and tennis lessons and day camps for children, including the playground summer camp.
The department offers three separate weeks of the playground summer camp beginning in the last week of July and into August. The program is for Prospect youth who have completed kindergarten to fifth grade. Campers will spend Monday through Thursday at Canfield Park and take a field trip on Friday. A different field trip is scheduled or each Friday of the camp. The fee for the camp is $70 per week or $180 for all three weeks. There is a 10 percent family member discount for each additional child registered.
