PROSPECT — The Prospect VFW Post 8075 and American Legion Post 194 are jointly sponsoring their second annual Oktoberfest on Oct. 1.
The Oktoberfest will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the VFW pavilion, 218 Cheshire Road. The event includes German and American food, along with beer, wine and soda. Entertainment will be provided by the band The Senior Sounds.
Tickets are $20 per person. Reservations for tables of 10 are available. All proceeds will be used to assist in various veteran and charitable programs.
