PROSPECT — Virginia R. Heald passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015
Virginia was born April 18, 1930 to Mabel H. Martin Watrous and Marshall G. Watrous in Wallingford.
She grew up on a farm and attended Whittlesey Avenue School and Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford. She attended Meriden Hospital School of Nursing and lived in Prospect for 40 years. Virginia worked as a caregiver in area homes, Healthcheck in Cheshire and D & L Registry in Waterbury.
She is survived by three sons, Robert E. Heald, of Waterbury, Peter H. Heald of Quincy, Mass., and David A. Heald of Brookfield; eight grandchildren and three sisters, Grace Watrous of Southington, Eleanor Stillwaggon of East Windsor and Mary E. Palmer of Kennebunk, Maine.
A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at Prospect Cemetery, 1 Union City Road, Prospect. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck.
