NAUGATUCK — Thomas H. Sodloski, 67, husband of the late Susan K. (Peil) Sodloski, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016 at his home.

Tom was born in Waterbury on Oct. 17, 1948, son of the late Adolph and Margaret “Peggy” (McDermott) Sodloski. A lifelong resident of Naugatuck, he retired from Risdon Manufacturing after more than 40 years of service. Tom was a member of the Highland Lake Watershed Association, and he enjoyed spending many good times at Highland Lake in Winsted with his family and friends. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his son, Thomas E. Sodloski of Naugatuck; his brothers-in-law, Joseph Ash and Theodore Peil, both of Naugatuck; his sister-in-law, Kristi Peil of Oakville; and several nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Ash.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 9:30 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
