NAUGATUCK — Steven D. Brennan, 67, died unexpectedly on Sept. 28, 2018.
Steve was born Feb. 18, 1951 in Waterbury, son of the late Charles A. and Charlotte A. (Burns) Brennan, and was a lifelong Naugatuck resident. Steve attended local schools, graduating from St. Francis School and Naugatuck High School, Class of 1969. He was a loyal fan of the New York Yankees, New York Giants and UConn Huskies. Prior to his disability, he worked at Risdon Manufacturing in Naugatuck.
Steve is survived by his brother, Brian M. Brennan and his wife, Betty, of Middlebury; his sister, Lyn Brennan of Naugatuck; and his brother, Timothy K. Brennan and his wife, Mary, of Scituate, Mass. He is also survived by their children, Kerri (Mike) Grieder, Michael (Denae) Brennan, Jennifer Brennan and Liah C. Brennan; great-nephews and nieces Braedan and Riley Grieder, Patrick, Quinn, Charlotte and Maggie Brennan.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, Oct. 4 at 12 p.m. at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
