BRANFORD — Scott Paul DeStefano, 51, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015 at his home.
Scott was born in Bridgeport, on May 19, 1964, son of Ralph G. and Maureen (Redmond) DeStefano of Naugatuck. A resident of Branford for the past 12 years, he enjoyed fishing, music, and was an accomplished guitarist.
Besides his parents, Scott is survived by his son, Scott Alexander Wheeler of Stratford; his brother, Ralph J. DeStefano of Thomaston; his sisters, Darlene Dorosh of Plymouth and Audrey Rivera of Auburn, N.H.; his nieces and nephews, Kaeli and Ryan Dorosh, and Marissa, Joshua, and Anthony Rivera; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
