WATERBURY — Rosa Segarra, 78, passed away on Sunday January 28, 2018 at her home. She was widow of Miguel Gonzalez.
She was born in Puerto Rico on April 30, 1939, daughter of the late Alfredo and Rosa Julia (Padilla) Segarra. Rosa was a longtime Waterbury resident and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She leaves her sons, Miguel, Julio, and Jose Gonzalez, and Luis Diaz; her daughters, Diana, Nayda, and Esperanza Gonzalez, and Carmen Diaz; her two sisters; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck.
