CONWAY, S.C. — Paul J. Everett, 66, beloved husband of Arlene (Konovaluk) Everett, passed away peacefully at Medical University of South Carolina on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017.

Besides his wife, Arlene of Conway, Paul leaves his children, Paul Everett, Jr. of West Grove, Pa., Joseph Fortier and his wife, Theresa, of New Hartford, Dawn Crandall and her husband, David, of Prospect; his brother, Richard Everett of Prospect; his grandchildren, Alexis and Audrey, Kenneth and Kallasandra, and Kara and Kyle.

Paul was born in Waterbury on Jan. 1, 1951, son of the late Paul and Hedwig (Szczepkowski) Everett. He was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and worked for Sheldon Precision in Prospect after 38 years as a machinist. After his retirement in 2015, Paul and Arlene moved to
Conway, S.C. to relax and enjoy the beautiful southern east coast climate. His children remember him as a kind, generous father who was always there for them. He was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church, and he enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

His funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at 9 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, to St. Anthony’s Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Paul’s life. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 to 7 pm. at the funeral home.
