WATERBURY — Nadine LaRowe, 53, loving mother, grandmother and wife, formerly of Naugatuck, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the daughter of Irene (Mitchell) Gartland and the wife of Thomas Russell.
Nadine was born Oct. 12, 1964 in New Haven and resided most of her life in Naugatuck, where she graduated from Naugatuck High School, Class of 1982. She was employed for many years at Ideal Manufacturing in Beacon Falls and most recently at Caraluzzi’s Market in Newtown. She was active with Seymour Pink, an organization who passionately raises money to fight breast cancer.
Besides her mother and husband, Nadine is survived by her daughter, Tiffany LaRowe of Watertown; her son, Drew LaRowe and his wife, Gina, of Waterbury; her grandchildren, Julien, Noah and Lola; her stepdaughter, Jennifer Russell of Hamden; her stepson, Thomas Russell and his wife, Kristina, of Bristol; her brother, Kenneth Gartland of Naugatuck; as well as many loving friends and family.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018 at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
