WATERBURY — Mildred “Millie” (Hendricks) Eureka, 94, of Waterbury, the widow of Ernest L. Eureka, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 at Paradigm of Prospect.
Millie was born Dec. 24, 1919 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Herbert and Lillian Hendricks. Millie lived all of her life in Waterbury. She graduated from Wilby High School and worked for many years for the Lester Young Insurance Agency.
Millie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Frances Eureka of Waterbury; her daughter-in-law, Judith Eureka, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Millie was predeceased by two sons, Richard and Roger Eureka.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m.
