NAUGATUCK — Mrs. MaryJane (Callahan) Miller, 66, of Naugatuck, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016. She was the wife of Jerry Miller.

MaryJane was born June 6, 1950 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late John “Happy” and Mary Callahan. Her strong Irish roots gave her a great love of collecting Irish themed collectibles. After graduating from Waterbury School of Nursing, she worked as a LPN for several years. She was an avid reader. A good friend to many who always took the time to lend an ear when someone needed to talk. Although she spent a lot of time reading and catching up on the latest deals on QVC, she always made time to play a game or do a puzzle with her grandson. We will miss watching the two of them together.

In addition to her husband, MaryJane is survived by her son, J.R. and his wife, Julie; her grandson, Johnny; her brother, John Callahan, and two sisters, Ellen Chiswell and Ann Magyar, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect, on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
