NAUGATUCK — Mark Edward Ruccio, 62, husband of Pamela (Goodson) Ruccio passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. Mark was born in Waterbury on July 10, 1953, son of Tina Ruccio and the late Robert Ruccio.

Mark was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck and graduated from Naugatuck High School Class of 1971. He then attended Johnson & Wales University and Post University.

Mark was employed as a materials manager at Sikorsky Aircraft for the last 27 years. During that time, he developed numerous friendships. Prior to that, he was employed at Peter Paul Cadbury and Uniroyal in Naugatuck. Mark also served on the Naugatuck Street Commission for many years. He enjoyed motorcycling, trips to the casino, hanging out in the shed with the guys, sitting around the fire pit and especially going out to eat with his loved ones at Teddy B’s.

Mark’s unique sense of humor will be missed by everyone that had the good fortune of knowing him. Mark was predeceased by his son, Josh Ruccio; and his father, Robert Ruccio.
