NAUGATUCK — Lucille E. (Smith) Bissonette, 92, widow of Lyle Bissonnette, passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital VITAS unit surrounded by her family.
Lucille was born in St. Albans, Vt. on Dec. 12, 1922, daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Peno) Smith. She lived in Prospect for the past six years and had also lived in Florida. Mrs. Bissonnette had worked at Uniroyal, SNET in Waterbury, as well as Sears when she resided in Florida. She also loved her game shows and solving crossword puzzles.
She leaves her daughter, Nancy Hanson and her husband, Andy, of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Gregg Hanson and his wife, Alicia, of Wolcott, and Margaret Hanson and her fiancé, Alex Myska; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, to St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Albans, Vermont. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m.
