BETHANY — Larry A. Simpson, 63, passed away suddenly surrounded by his loving family and friends on Sept 18, 2018.
Larry is son of the late John and Lila Simpson. Those that knew Larry, know that he was a spiritual man and loved Jehovah. He was an elder at a local congregation in Naugatuck. He loved his volunteer work in the ministry and many building projects over the years.
Larry loved playing sports with his family and friends along with a long history of snowmobiling. He was also known for his excavating work within their family business, John L. Simpson & Sons.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Violette) Simpson; his sister, Gail Simpson; brother, Bobby Simpson; sister in-law, Sandra Baker; and brother in-law, Steven Bush. Larry also experienced the love of many nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.
Larry was predeceased by his parents; his brother, John “Johnny” L. Simpson Jr.; and sister, Susan (Simpson) Bush.
Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 49 Bowman Drive, Naugatuck, on Sept. 29, 2018 starting at 12 p.m. followed by a memorial talk at 1 p.m.
