
NAUGATUCK — James Raczkowski, 77, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 at his home. He was the husband of Diana (Spinelli) Raczkowski.
Mr. Raczkowski was born June 7, 1941 in Waterbury, the son of the late Clarence and Mary (Michna) Raczkowski. He was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck, attending Prospect Street School and Kaynor Technical School in Waterbury. He worked for at Frank’s Auto Body for 38 years and for Sikorsky Aircraft for seven years until his retirement.
Besides his wife of 38 years, Mr. Raczkowski is survived by his son, Jason Raczkowski (Maddie) of Naugatuck; his brothers, Edward Farrell of Florida and George Raczkowski and his wife, Joan, of Naugatuck; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sister-in-law, Joan Farrell.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Holy Savior Church, 118 Prospect St., Naugatuck. There are no calling hours, and committal will be held at the convenience of the family. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.
