TOLLAND — Eugenia (Miller) Gerrish Koonitsky went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2015. She was 91.
Eugenia was predeceased by her husbands, Clarence Gerrish and Anthony Koonitsky. Her passion and most proud accomplishment was her family. She leaves five children, Rosanne (Randy), Philip (Jo Ann), Dianne (James), Elaine (Christopher) and Theodore (Bonnie). She has 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Eugenia, a former Naugatuck resident, enjoyed spending time with family, painting, crocheting, traveling, reading and her relationships with others. She will be remembered as a fabulous cook and baker. Eugenia’s zest for life, love of people, smile, determination and intense family devotion are gifts her family will forever hold close at heart.
The family would like to acknowledge the staff at Woodlake Nursing Home for their compassion and care over the last four years.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of her family.
