
BEACON FALLS — It is with great sadness that on Sept. 12, 2015 we lost our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Eileen Patricia (Walsh) Bousquet after a brief illness at the age of 88.
Born Nov. 18, 1926 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late James and Mary Walsh, she will be sadly missed by her husband of 66 years, Gerald; sons, Jerry and his wife Debbie Bousquet and Douglas and his wife Nicole Bousquet; and daughter, Diane and her husband Andrew Hall. She is also survived her grandchildren, Kevin, Nicholas, Jenny, and Nicole and her siblings, Mae Tynan, and Jack and Christopher Walsh. She was predeceased by her son, James; grandchild Mackensie and sister, Shirley.
A Waterbury native, Eileen worked at SNET, Timex, Woolworths, the Bristol Company and Loring Studios. Eileen and Jerry married and in 1953 moved to Beacon Falls where they became loving, caring friends and neighbors and well known especially through their involvement with St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church. Her bubbly smile and laughter will be sadly missed.
Mrs. Bousquet’s family would like to thank Dr. Ritchie and the nurses and staff at St. Mary’s ICU especially Amy, Grace and Brittany for the loving care that they provided for their mother.
Mrs. Bousquet’s funeral will be held on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect, to St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls for a mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m.
