NAUGATUCK — Clara Della Rocco, 76, passed away peacefully Monday, March 9, 2015 at Waterbury Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband Michael Della Rocco Sr., who passed away in 1997.
She was born Oct. 21, 1938 in New Haven daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chriscuolo.
Clara was employed at Hospital Marketing prior to her retirement. She was an avid bingo player, and loved making trips to the casino.
She is survived by her son, Michael Jr. and his wife Penny Della Rocco of Munster, Ind.; her daughter, Donna and her husband Jeffrey Butwell of Waterbury; five grandchildren, Ray Jr., Taylor, Laura, Michael, and Elizabeth; and her great-granddaughter, Liliana.
A graveside service for Mrs. Della Rocco will be held 10 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770. Burial will follow after the service, and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St, 06770, is assisting with the arrangements.
