NAUGATUCK — Bettina (Travaglianti) Jaroneczyk, 69, wife of Stanley L. Jaroneczyk, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on June 29, 1946, daughter of the late Santo and Carmela (Salso) Travaglianti. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and retired from Stop and Shop after many years of service. Bettina enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling, and especially spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Besides her husband of 51 years, she is survived by her son, Stanley L. Jaroneczyk III and his wife, Laurie, of Naugatuck; her daughters, Deborah Luther and her husband, Robert, of Naugatuck and Theresa Alves and her husband, David, of Prospect; seven grandchildren, David Alves, Troy Carlson, Ryan Alves, Noah Carlson, Katie Jaroneczyk, Ashlee Alves and Tony Jaroneczyk; and many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.
