BEACON FALLS — Barbara A. Smith, 97, of Beacon Falls, beloved wife of the late Clifford Smith, entered peaceful rest with family by her side on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017 in Griffin Hospital. Born in Seymour on Dec. 24, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Fannie (Conine) Theurer.
Survivors include her loving children, Brian Smith, Sr. of Florida, Janis Smith of Beacon Falls, and Barbara Hunter and her husband, Robert, of Beacon Falls; four adored grandchildren, Brian Smith, Jr. and his wife, Amy, Marcia Puc and her husband, Bernard, Jennifer Smith, and Lindsay Carlson and her husband, Michael; eight adored great-grandchildren and a special niece, Joan Pillsbury. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by five sisters.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, and all services are private.
