NAUGATUCK — Audrey A. Bruce, 80, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. She was the wife of the late Wallace Bruce, who passed away in 2004.
Mrs. Bruce was born Oct. 6, 1937 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Max and Grace
(Impressa) Darm. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Bruce of Naugatuck and Cheryl Joseph and her husband, Jordan, of Naugatuck; her son, David Bruce of Naugatuck; her siblings, Rita “Dee” Cashin, Carol Santoro, Alan “Rocky” Darm and his wife, Anna, George Darm and his wife, Ann; her grandchildren Jason Bruce and his wife, Melissa, Melanie Charland, Eric Charland, Lucas Joseph, and step-grandson, Dyllan Brouard; her great-grandson, Reese Bruce, and step-great-grandchildren, Ciera Palyo, and Riley Palyo.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in St. James Cemetery.
