NAUGATUCK — Anilson M. “Nelson” Aviz, 43, the husband of Opal A. Keegan, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his home. Nelson was born April 5, 1972 in Waterbury, a son of Maria Nazare and the late Antonio Aviz.
Nelson was a member of the laborer’s union and worked for the John J. Brennan Construction Company.
Besides his wife and his mother, Nelson is survived by his son, Travis Reilly; his daughter, Adrianna Aviz; his brother, Anilton Aviz and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be Friday, July 10, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck.
